The hardest thing I’ve overcome as a woman was being the sole caregiver for my mother during the last five years of her life, as she battled breast cancer and end-stage renal disease. Navigating the emotional and physical demands of caregiving, while balancing my own personal and professional responsibilities, taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, compassion, and self-care, deepening my empathy and strengthening my commitment to supporting others through life’s most challenging moments.
