Navigating the challenges as the "double only" in many corporate rooms—I internalized the unspoken requirement to work twice as hard while raising my children as a single mother. I also learned to hold space within myself as both the dutiful daughter and the exhausted caretaker for my mother with dementia, ultimately choosing to rewrite my story after a personal health crisis.
